Joe Houston at California Custom Construction framed in and painted our pole barn and he and his crew did a great job. It is not an easy task to make a pole barn square and tight and crisp looking, they did it. Joe Houston also did a few remodels for us on some rental properties, Joe was very professional and gracious with our tenants and completed the jobs on budget and on time.

Joe did the earthquake retrofit on our Craftsman home. There were many complications along the way, but joe's work was so good, the city building inspector said he'd never seen such a good job. Joe kept us well informed of the problems and progress of the job as they occurred.
We were really concerned when the wall in our
living room started leaning out, to the point that a
door in the next room no longer opened.
A structural engineer told us that the main beam
in our 20' high vaulted ceiling was undersized and
starting to bend.
Joe at CA Custom Construction did an amazing
job of installing a new 24 foot long beam, 20 feet
up, with minimal damage to the existing structure. The drywall finish looked great. He was very professional, gave us a reasonable estimate, and did excellent work.

I hired Joe to do a tile job in my bathroom. It had a half shower tile with a seat in it, also tile around my bathtub and floor with a drain installed on the floor. The tile came out just beautiful. Also, when I was overseas, I called Joe for an emergency plumbing job under my rental. He came the same day and did the repair.
